On the last day of school before winter break LaBrum students attended the winter concert, which was said to be one of the best in recent years. Many people from band, glee club, and strings shared similar perspectives of the concert.
Sofia Kempa and Nan Li were, “nervous… during the concert...and relieved after it was finished because it was a success.” Princess Johnson believes the concert was outstanding because families came to watch their children perform, and they enjoyed it.
Princess believes that parents get a better sense of the school when they see kids uniting under a band/orchestra.
While Carlie McNally wasn’t nervous but confident because of the experience of being on stage— performing in front of a huge audience last summer.
The audience also enjoyed itself. Mrs. Ladue thought it was awesome and was glad that the teachers were part of the winter concert. “Those who worked hard to put it together and the students who performed were like kids performing” from her view.
