The Turkey Bowl is a fun activity that Labrum Middle School has every year. This year student activities included UNO, flag football, trivia, Engineer and Design challenge, and relaxation.

The Engineer and Design challenge was overseen by Ms. Myers and Ms.Blackmon. In that activity, the students designed paper airplanes, and tested them to see how far they will go. Then they redesigned them to make them go farther.

In the trivia activity, Ms. Hauser was in charge, and students did trivia about Thanksgiving. In UNO, managed by Ms. Fields, students played UNO in different groups and then the person who won in their group would play another group winner.

Seventh grader Sean Lordan noted that his “favorite part of the Turkey Bowl was flag football.” It is probably no coincidence that his team was victorious. Sebastian Torres also enjoyed the football game since, as he says, he likes playing competitive games.

Stay tuned for the 2019 Turkey Bowl!
