In class, you need to get your work done! But to get your work done, you need a pencil. In the majority of the 8th grade classes, the sharpeners do not work or just don’t do their jobs as pencil sharpeners. Lets see how these teachers feel.
Mr Kelly said, “If you would like a working a pencil sharpener, you could donate one. I'm sorry my semi-broken pencil sharpener doesn’t meet your needs, your majesty.”
Mr Kinkaid says “I’ve had it for a couple of years but it started to get dull, so I got a new one. The new one however didn’t last long, so I had to go back to the old one.”
Mr Marr stated “I’ve had better sharpeners, but this one either doesn’t sharpen or just breaks the tip off. I’ve heard many other students mutter curse words after using it. My suggestion is bring your own hand sharpener”
Now students feel as if this is a tragedy.
Student Joseph Walker says “Mr Kelly’s is just absolute garbage”
Students Garnell Mitchell and Gabriel Grosscup feel that “they are the worst sharpeners” and that “they are absolute garbage and a symbol of teachers not caring about our preparedness”
