Labrum students have mixed opinions on the monthly rewards. Some are split as to whether they enjoy them or not. In the beginning of the year, in both electives and out of school, Labrum students were not shy to give their opinion on rewards.

When asked for a comment, 7th grader Layla Mastrangelo says, “I mean, it's boring, but it's fun at the same time. I like the Blue/Gold challenges, but not the dances.”

When the 8th grader Haylee Sanders was asked for her opinion, she replied, “They’re boring, and it’s always the same things.”

In the words of 7th grader Nakiyah Hardaway-N, “Monthly Rewards are boring, loud, and overrated. I think instead of having to go to monthly rewards, there should be another activity for kids who don't want to go.”

However, 7th grader Joseph Hill was more positive: “They’re lit. We get a reward every time we do something and it's not dumb stuff. We get to do new things every month.”
