*Disclaimer* This show has language and a good amount of blood in the fight scenes. You have been warned.

Yes. His name is The Tick and partners name is arthur. The tick was a superhero made by Ben Edlund of New England Comics in 1986. The Tick is a superhero who has literally no idea who or what he is from frequent head injuries. His story from what he remembers is he woke up in an insane asylum in a straight jacket, he got bored and decided to become a superhero. He was basically one big spoof of superhero comic books and people really liked him. In the year 1994 Fox came out with a full fledged cartoon of the tick. The tick was voiced by Townsend Coleman. It ended on November 24, 1996.

For a while that was it. The tick ran his course and he was done. That was until November 8, 2001 when the show “The Tick” came out (the names of these shows are so original, I wonder how they come up with these) played by Patrick Warburton The description of this new show is “This live-action version of the cartoon series of the same name follows the adventures of the 7-foot, 400-pound superhero with nigh-invulnerability, superhuman strength, super speed and the battle cry of `Spoooooon!' Helping him fight crime is moth sidekick Arthur.” This was a pretty well received show and it wasn’t to bad from the reviews. It ended on January 31, 2002. That was the history of the tick.

Now after 6 years the marvel cinematic universe (or M.C.U.) began. Starting off with “Iron man” in 2008. It was very well received. It became very big this universe and the peik of these was in around 2017 when movies like “Spiderman: homecoming” or “Thor Ragnarok” came out. The reason this was brought up is because on January 12, 2017 a trailer came out from Prime video UK that reveals a new tick show. I made a point of saying the comic book tick spoofed comics. This looked like it spoofed the M.C.U or D.C. movies as a whole. The worst part is it was good and had a good story and cast and everything. The tick played by Peter Serafinowicz. The description from prime video says “In a world where superheroes and villains have been real for decades, Arthur, an unassuming accountant with no superpowers, becomes embroiled in the middle of the battle between good and evil. When he realizes that his city is owned by a global supervillain who was long thought to be dead, he struggles to uncover the conspiracy. As he becomes obsessed with the conspiracy, most people think he's crazy. One person who believes Arthur is a mysterious new ally, The Tick, who is a bizarre blue superhero who may just be a figment of Arthur's imagination.”

Now there is merchandise like figures and pop vinyls. Not many people in the school know about it so I can’t get any reviews. but that is why I am making this to show people. Clearly it is a good show because on April 5, 2019 there will be a 10 episode second season and I will be watching it and hopefully enjoying it.
