Opinion: Bird Box Challenge

If you guys don't know what Bird Box is, it is a movie in which a mysterious force comes into the population. Only one thing is certain: if you see it, you die. There are people trying to survive by not coming face to face with the entity, and the only way they can do that is by wearing a blindfold.

I personally think that this is the most pointless movie i've ever watched. After 45 million people watched it, of course they came up with a Bird Box challenge, and a bunch of memes. The challenge encourages people to accomplish activities while blindfolded.

Netflix had this to say about the new viral challenge “Can't believe I had to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELF WITH THIS NEW BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don't know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you do not end up in the hospital due to memes.”
