Opinion: Are Middle Schoolers Too Old to Trick or Treat?

Are middle schoolers to old for Halloween? Today, I went around and asked people how they felt about Halloween, and I got some pretty good feedback, starting with Mrs. Blackmon who said “I think it's okay.”

Then I asked some students if middle schoolers are too old to trick or treat:

Johnny: Nah not really. It's lit when you do bad stuff.

Sean: No it's fun. I guess what Johnny said.

Kevin: It's on my birthday, so I like it.

Others disagreed and felt middle schoolers were too old for Halloween. Haylee: Yeah, I’d rather go to party.

Emily: I would rather watch movie.

Karissa: I would rather go to a party.

So some kids don’t think that they’re too old. They just think they’re too old to go with a parent, and I guess that's true. But some kids throw Halloween parties, some kids stay home and eat pizza, and some watch scary movies. But personally, I don't think that i'm too old to go trick or treating. I like candy!
