The NBA season is almost halfway through their season with every team playing about 25 to 29 games so far. So far many teams have underperformed and overperformed. One team that has over performed are the Milwaukee Bucks who are a surprisingly 25 and 4, which even though they were the 1st seed in the east last year, it’s surprising because they lost a superstar shooter in Malcom Brogden who was in the 50 40 90 club last year- 50% from the field, 40% from the 3pt line, and 90% from the free throw line. Malcom Brogden was also a key part of their team being their point guard but also as a target for Giannis Antetounkmpo to pass the ball to for a quick three while he was driving in to the paint.

Another surprising team is the Los Angeles Lakers. Who are here due to the addition of All-Star Anthony Davis. Their main criticism coming into the season was that the lineup was to big and they weren't a very deep team. But three main pieces have changed those storylines. Those three are Rajon Rondo, Alex Caruso, and Dwight Howard. Rajon Rondo has surprised many people due to his great passing ability with Lebron and AD he has been a great person to start the offense. Second is former superstar Dwight Howard, who has revamped his career coming back to the Lakers putting up average of 6.8 points a game, 1.3 blocks per game, and 6.9 rebounds a game, he has become a great presence off the bench and a great vetiran. Lastly is Alex Caruso who has broken out this season as the best players off the bench is putting up averages of 5.4 points per game and 1.8 assists a game, even though the numbers aren't great they do make him the best player off the bench

The third Surprising team is the boston celtics who after losing superstar ping Kyrie irving and All-star caliber center in Al Horford, have been surprisingly winning games and are the second in the eastern conference. They did gain Kemba walker who has really shown to be the leader of his team. While Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown are showing why the’re promising young talents again.

For the first team underperforming is the Los Angeles Clipper while even though they are 21 and 9 they should have a better record. This is because they kept their great young core from last year and add stars Paul George and Kawhi Leonard as well, of the top 5 players in the league,. While they’re still a great team and if the season ended today they would end up being the second seed in the west they should arguably be the best team in the league right now.

Another underperforming team is the Philadelphia 76ers. With an all-star starting five and a great bench they should be the best team in the East right? Well your wrong if the season ended today, they would be fifth in the east with a 20 and 9 record. They wouldn’t even have home court advantage their main problem is them just struggling in the 4th quarter and their inability to beat a bad team like the Thunder and Wizards.
