The NBA MVP race is shaping up to be one of the best ones in years with many great players who have won MVP in the past and some players who has never won the current players in the MVP race, are defending MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo from the milwaukee bucks, four time MVP LeBron James from the Los Angeles Lakers, young center from the Los Angeles Lakers Anthony Davis, former one time MVP from the Houston Rockets James Harden, and a very young upcoming point guard from the Dallas Mavericks Luka Donic. In my opinion I think Giannis will repeat as MVP, But a rising star Luka Donic, will be a very close second. Luka is a very young and talented player from Slovenian and he has lots of room to develop in this season is averaging 29.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 1.2 steals per game only as a 20 year old as the Mavericks record is 22-12 and are 5th in a stact western conference. Last year Lukas number were no ware even close to what they are now he was putting up 21.1 points 6.0 assets and 7.6 rebounds. Luka is getting better every minute and I predict him to win MVP in the next 3 years.

As for rookie of the year there is not much happening there. As Ja Morant is the early favorite from the Memphis Grizzlies, with Kendrick Nunn right behind him, and Tyler Herro is in there as well. Some dark horse to win are Micheal Porter Jr., R.J. Barret, and also Zion Williamson who is injured right now and have not played a game yet but was one of the best players in the draft this year. Zion Williamson is an incredible player who had an amazing year last year at duke with another rookie of the year candidate R.J. Barret. Last year at Duke Zion put up 22.6 points 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 assets per game. When Zion return the New Orleans Pelican will be scary and the rookie of the year race will be shook up.
