At LaBrumCast, we write stories on things that are happening at the Labrum Middle School. Today we interviewed the computer/makerspace teacher Mrs. Myers about her MakerSpace STEM Program.
Mrs. Myer’s told LaBrumCast that “Makerspaces are areas in a school for students to design and create works that can be related to STEM science.”
STEM stands for S- Science, T- Technology, E- Engineering, and M - Math.
We also learned that Mrs. Myers feels that “creativity is so important to educate our minds and give us a broad education background.” She went on to tell us that her favorite part is seeing all the creative things that the students create.
