I read a lot of comics. I mean a lot, so I decided to talk about them. I am going to talk about “Kingdom Come”. This book came out in 1996 and was written by Mark Waid and written and illustrated by Alex Ross. This book was part of the Elseworlds series of books which took characters like the Justice League and their villains and flip them in a way that makes everything different.

The book of “Kingdom Come” was about an older version of the Justice League that retired because of the new heroes that tried to fend them off. Superman went back to his farm, Batman did everything horribly from the batcave, Flash stopped everything, Green lantern went back to the lantern planet of OA, and Wonder woman tried not to give up hope.

The great thing about the story is your view on everything is from a man. Not a god and not an alien. The superheroes act more human than they did in other incarnations. This man gets taken by a superhero named Spectre and he takes the man to watch this stuff. The art is spectacular and everything about it is great. The art style looks somewhat like a painting and it is really good.

I would recommend this book because it is very realistic for a comic book about superheroes. I think that people who haven't read a comic would not enjoy this, but for someone who is a big Marvel or DC fan, give it a go!
