On Tuesday October 2nd, Labrum put together an ice cream social event to reward students for their excellent behavior throughout the month of September. LabrumCast caught up with some eighth graders who shared their thoughts about the event.
Many students told us that “Yes, it was very enjoyable.” This is most likely because of the cold treats provided and full hour of recess that went along with it. This supports the persistent answer collected when students were asked: “What was your favorite part of the event?”
“The ice cream, duh!”
It seems as though the ice cream social was a pretty successful experience for the school. The information that LabrumCast gathered tells that, according to students, nothing in the function should’ve been done differently and the school should plan to make this happen again at Labrum.
However there was some criticism. There were requests for the day to take place in warmer weather next time, for the activities to be a little more organized, and for students to be given even more freedom. Other than those minor setbacks in the positive data collected, it looks like Labrum’s ice cream social was a new accomplishment.
