Gaming Spotlight - Apex Legends

Apex legends, the new evolution of battle royale (aka ripoff of Fortnite). It came out February 4, 2019 and can be played on Xbox, PS4, and PC. It was published by the company Respawn Entertainment and by Electronic Arts. The game is free on all the platforms as well. It is rated a 4.5 out of 5 stars. According to the internet and people it's going to take over the video game world replacing Fortnite, COD4, PUBG, etc. In Apex Legends there are 8 characters or legends, 2 out of the 8 you have to pay for. Apex is still in the beta and that means you need 3 players to really play the game. Here are what some students had to say about it.

Dominic- “It’s the best game it's way better than Fortnite. Fortnite is horrible and Apex is way better. The graphics of the game are amazing.”

Antonio- ”I'm not a big fan of Apex Legends. One, because its battle royale. Two, it’s a bunch of games mixed into one game, which is stupid. Three,I just don't like it.”

Andre-”It's not that good because I personally don't like the feel of the game and you can only play three man squads the graphics of the game are trash.”

Julien- “It's a good game for starters, it's basically a new Fortnite and it’s good for newcomers for battle royale games. The graphics are okay, but I think they could be a little more animated.”

Dante- ”Apex Legends is a pretty good game. Also, I think it is way better than Fortnite.”
