Cougars Open Football Season With a Win

On Thursday October 18th, the LaBrum Cougars played the Mayfair Middle School football team, the same team the Cougars lost to last season. But this time, Labrum was victorious with a score of 44 to 12.

Following the game, Coach Pinzarrone said, “I was a little nervous going into the game seeing as they were the only team who beat us last year.”

With the possibility of losing in mind, Chris Prelle said that even though he went into the game nervous, at half time he was confident that the Cougars had the game.

The coach emphasized that he loved how well the team worked together, which was from all of the practices. The team thought those practice sessions helped them big time, especially as the team has bonded and played well together.
