Birthday Spotlight - Kaelin Toy

When doing a service project for NJHS, a reporter from LaBrum Cast saw a few girls decorating a locker for someone’s birthday. Even though it was kind of like a tradition in LaBrum I wanted to something to be on the web so then I thought of a B-day spotlight so others can know what the others felt about doing it.

The reporter asked, “why did you decide to decorate the locker”?

A 6th grader named Allura Stahl responded with, “We did it as a joke but we also decorated it with the people she liked.”

“How do you feel towards the person you did it for,” was also another question asked when Madelyn Carns said that, “She's my best friend, so I was fine about doing the locker thing with the others.”

“What was her reaction? How did you feel towards her reaction,” was something the reporter was curious about and so asked. Carlie McNally a 6th grader also said that, “she was embarrassed, and I was happy, since it was something that I expected from her,"

Finally the opinion and thought from the Birthday girl, Kaelin Toy, who said, “I was embarrassed about it even though I already knew about it since they told me.”
