January 25th was the last day for Ms. Myer and Mr. Kuntsmann here at LaBrum. LaBrumCast caught up with them to see how they felt on that very day:

How do you feel about leaving Labrum and going to Hancock?

Ms.Myer- “ I’m happy and sad at the same time because being at Labrum is very rewarding, because I learned a lot from the faculty and students.”

Mr Kuntzmann- “Excited because i haven’t seen kids at Hancock for long time since last June, but sad because of leaving 6th and 8th grade-- starting over in September and last week of school.”

Is there something you will miss here at Labrum?

Ms. Myer- “ I’m gonna miss everybody.”

Mr. Kuntzmann- “The electives like glee club and chess.”

What are the difference from teaching here at Labrum and Hancock?

Ms. Myer- “ Because I taught the same subject for so many years at Hancock, it was challenging to think outside of the box.”

Mr. Kuntzmann- “Over at Hancock there are more variety of ages and grades who are still little and learning to growing up (K-5th).”

How does it feel teaching for the first time at Labrum?

Ms. Myer- “The students at Labrum are amazing, and have so much to offer --the universe in the future-- I feel very blessed to be a part of their education.”
