The February monthly reward saw LaBrum students participate in a school-wide Family Feud tournament. LaBrumCast decided to do take a dive into the event that occured on March 8th and interviewed people about the monthly reward- Joao Neto (captain of the blue team), Mr.Kinkaid (blue team advisor), Mrs, Hauser (the emcee), Logan Hajduk (captain of the gold team), and finally Mrs. Ladue (gold team advisor).
In the final round-- the championships ended up being a, “Classic [match], Blue vs. Gold.” Reporters from LaBrumCast asked the advisors and captains about their thoughts and feelings on the championship round and how blue won and gold lost.
Joao Neto exclaimed that it was “scary and a lot of pressure [but also a] fun opportunity… for the advisories, like going against each other.”
He also said, “that it was good that blue won but gold played the best.”
Others had different feelings about the event. Logan Hajduk was disappointed through and through.
Mr. Kinkaid was “proud of [his] advisory,” and Mrs. Ladue on the other hand said she “she loved all the students and was proud of them.”
Speaking of Mrs. Ladue, there were anonymous sources that suggested that she had made an illegal substitution. She commented with “There was nothing in the rules that said we couldn't substitute the kids and my advisory made it fair for other advisories.”
Lastly there was Mrs. Hauser, who was asked if Steve Harvey would be proud of her and said, “I don't think anyone is as good as Steve Harvey.”
